Meghan Pendleton, RD

Registered Dietitian

Meghan is a Registered Dietitian who brings a holistic, evidence-based approach to health that honors the powerful connection between nutrition and mental well-being. She understands that what we eat—and how we relate to food—can significantly impact mood, energy, sleep, gut health, and our ability to manage stress and emotions. Her work supports clients in understanding how nutrition and physiology intersect with mental health, and how food can be a tool for healing, not just physical health but emotional resilience as well.

At Laurel Tree Counseling, Meghan works closely with your therapist to provide integrated care that supports the whole person. Whether you’re managing anxiety, depression, trauma, or chronic stress, she helps identify how nutritional imbalances, digestive health, and lifestyle patterns may be contributing to your symptoms. Together, you’ll develop realistic, supportive strategies that align with your goals and values.

Meghan provides medical nutrition therapy for a range of concerns, including gastrointestinal issues, food allergies and intolerances, metabolic and cardiovascular health, and hormonal and women’s health. She has a special interest in maternal health, supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the often-overlooked emotional and nutritional transitions of motherhood.

She is also experienced in supporting clients healing from eating disorders and disordered eating, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and chronic dieting. Her approach is weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, and centered on helping clients rebuild a compassionate relationship with food and their bodies. In close collaboration with therapists, Meghan helps create a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing.

In addition, Meghan offers support for individuals pursuing or recovering from bariatric surgery, helping them navigate the physical and emotional adjustments that come with significant lifestyle changes. Her care emphasizes long-term well-being, not quick fixes.

With both personal insight and clinical expertise, Meghan is committed to helping clients feel seen, heard, and supported—physically, emotionally, and nutritionally—through every stage of their wellness journey.
